Trump vows continued strikes on Houthis as long as they threaten navigation
U.S. President Donald Trump has pledged to maintain military strikes against the Houthis as long as they pose a threat to maritime navigation.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated, "We are striking them every day and every night with increasing intensity." He emphasized that the Houthis' capabilities, which endanger maritime security and regional stability, are being swiftly dismantled.
"Our attacks will continue until they cease threatening freedom of navigation," he affirmed.
On Monday, the U.S. Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes on Al-Dailami Air Base in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, which is under the control of the Houthi movement, also known as Ansar Allah.
According to local sources, the U.S. conducted three airstrikes targeting Houthi weapons storage facilities at the base. There have been no reports of casualties or damage following the attack.
