Manchester City reportedly ready to spend €130 million on Ayyoub Bouaddi
Manchester City are reportedly pushing ahead with plans to sign 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille, with Spanish newspaper AS claiming that the Premier League club could be prepared to pay as much as €130 million for the Moroccan international.
The proposed move would form part of City’s plans to strengthen their midfield amid uncertainty surrounding Rodri’s future. Bouaddi has attracted significant attention after his performances for Lille and Morocco, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most highly rated young midfielders.
Reports indicate that discussions between Manchester City and Lille are progressing, while Bouaddi’s representatives are said to have reached an agreement on personal terms with the English club. However, no final transfer agreement has officially been announced.
If the reported €130 million fee is confirmed, the deal would represent a major investment in one of football’s emerging talents and would place Bouaddi among the most expensive players ever transferred from French football.
Manchester City must now continue negotiations with Lille to determine the final structure and value of the potential transfer.
