Morocco launches housing aid boost for youth
Morocco's government has partnered with Al Omrane to offer housing support and professional opportunities for young citizens through the Pass Jeunes program. Youth minister Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid signed an agreement with housing secretary Adib Benbrahim and Al Omrane CEO Hosni Ghazouani to provide housing discounts and internship opportunities.
The initiative grants Pass Jeunes cardholders, aged 16-30, a 5% discount on Al Omrane housing projects nationwide. Additional 2% discounts apply during promotional periods, with potential savings ranging from MAD 15,000 to MAD 100,000. Properties valued above MAD 2 million may qualify for larger reductions.
Available housing projects span multiple cities including Fez, Meknes, Rabat, Casablanca, Laayoune, Oujda, and Tetouan. The program extends to both domestic residents and Moroccans living abroad.
Beyond housing benefits, Al Omrane will provide internship positions across its locations to help youth gain professional experience. This dual approach aims to support both housing accessibility and career development for young Moroccans.
The agreement aligns with the government's 2021-2026 program focusing on youth inclusion and social advancement. The Pass Jeunes mobile app already offers various benefits for cultural activities, sports, transport, and accommodation services throughout Morocco.
