Arab Cup: Tarik Sektioui confident ahead of Morocco A’ semi-final clash

With only hours remaining before the semi-final showdown against the United Arab Emirates, Morocco’s local national team (Morocco A’) is approaching the match with confidence and determination. The encounter is scheduled to take place at the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan as part of the Arab Cup Qatar 2025.

During the pre-match press conference, head coach Tarik Sektioui emphasized the positive atmosphere within the squad. He highlighted the strong sense of unity, discipline, and responsibility shown by the players throughout the preparation phase. According to Sektioui, the team is mentally ready to rise to the challenge and deliver a competitive performance against a well-organized opponent.

The Moroccan coach also welcomed the return of striker Abderrazak Hamdallah, who is once again available after serving a suspension. Sektioui noted the player’s motivation and desire to contribute decisively in this crucial fixture. As for forward Tarik Tissoudali, who suffered an injury in the previous match, the technical staff confirmed that his condition is improving under close medical supervision.

Goalkeeper Rachid Ghanimi, speaking alongside the coach, warned that the semi-final would require maximum concentration. He pointed out the solid defensive structure of the Emirati team and stressed the importance of managing key moments during the match.

As anticipation builds in Doha, Morocco A’ is aiming to secure a place in the final and continue its strong run in the tournament, driven by ambition and collective spirit.
