Marjane honors Moroccan football fans ahead of AFCON 2025

As the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations approaches, Moroccan retail giant Marjane is launching a nationwide campaign to celebrate the country’s football supporters. The initiative aims to highlight the energy, passion, and unity of fans of the Lions de l’Atlas, offering a unique immersive experience across the nation.

Mhamed Chlyeh, Marjane’s Deputy CEO, described the campaign as a way to reinforce the bond between supporters and the national team while showcasing local talent. The campaign, titled « مرجان، المساند الرسمي للجمهور المغربي », features a short film entirely produced by Moroccan creators and will be broadcast on television and digital platforms nationwide.

Between November 29 and December 21, 2025, Marjane hypermarkets will be transformed into interactive football hubs, offering games, sports activities, and family-friendly events. Tens of thousands of gifts, including official jerseys, caps, and AFCON footballs, will be distributed, allowing fans to experience the excitement of the tournament first-hand.

As an official Puma retailer, Marjane will also offer the official Lions de l’Atlas jerseys and launch a limited-edition AFCON 2025 apparel collection designed entirely in Morocco, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, scarves, and caps. In partnership with Visa, the campaign will give supporters exclusive opportunities, including access for over one hundred children to walk onto the pitch alongside players during the tournament’s final stages.

Since its founding in 1990, Marjane has played a key role in Morocco’s economic, social, and cultural development. With more than 200 outlets, 14,000 employees, and over 100 million annual visitors, the company continues to strengthen its commitment to modernizing commerce while celebrating Morocco’s football culture.
