Ukraine: Russian strike hits maternity hospital in Zaporizhzhia, six injured
A Russian strike on Sunday damaged a maternity hospital in Zaporizhzhia, eastern Ukraine, injuring at least six people, including two women undergoing medical examinations, local authorities reported. The attack shattered windows, destroyed furniture, and left debris across consultation rooms, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional administration.
Earlier, Russian drone strikes killed two civilians in Dnipro and severely injured a woman in Kherson, who lost part of her leg and sustained head injuries. Ukrainian authorities praised SpaceX and Elon Musk for measures that reportedly prevented Russia from using Starlink satellite systems to operate drones over Ukraine.
Meanwhile, trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States are scheduled to resume on February 4–5 in Abu Dhabi, aiming to advance peace talks after a previous round on January 23–24.
