Türkiye condemns deadly terrorist attacks in Pakistan’s Balochistan province
Türkiye strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province on Saturday, following clashes that left dozens dead. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as “treacherous” and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
In an official statement posted on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, the ministry conveyed its sympathy for Pakistani soldiers who lost their lives and reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
Initial reports from Pakistani authorities indicated that at least 15 soldiers, 11 civilians, and more than 100 militants were killed during coordinated attacks thwarted by Pakistani security forces. The clashes targeted key installations and were part of a broader wave of violence in the region.
Türkiye’s response highlights the country’s continued commitment to regional stability and counterterrorism cooperation with Pakistan.
