Solid evidence Iran holds US responsible for Israel’s aggression

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused the United States of being complicit in Israel’s recent attacks on Iran, stating these military actions could not have occurred without American consent and support. Speaking at a press briefing in Tehran, Araghchi presented what he described as clear and documented proof of US assistance, including the use of American bases in the region.

He further noted that former US President Donald Trump openly admitted knowledge of the attacks and acknowledged that they were facilitated by US weapons and resources, adding that additional assaults are anticipated. “This makes the US a partner in these attacks and responsible for their consequences,” Araghchi asserted.

Despite receiving official messages from Washington denying involvement in Israel’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, Tehran remains skeptical, citing contrary evidence. Araghchi called on the US government to publicly clarify its stance and formally condemn the attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities, as international law forbids such acts.

The attacks occurred just as Iran and the US were preparing for their sixth round of nuclear negotiations, mediated by Oman. Araghchi emphasized that Israel is determined to derail diplomatic efforts.

The Israeli strikes, targeting both civilian and military locations across Iran, have reportedly caused at least 80 deaths, including prominent military commanders and nuclear scientists. Iran has retaliated with missile and drone strikes against Israeli cities, resulting in casualties and infrastructure damage.

Araghchi described Israel’s recent targeting of Iran’s energy infrastructure, including gas fields in the southern province of Bushehr, as a strategic error with the potential to escalate the conflict regionally and globally. Tehran warned of continued retaliations unless Israel ceases its attacks and urged international condemnation of Israel’s actions.

Iranian media reflected a mix of nationalism and calls for unity amid the conflict, with government officials preparing for prolonged hostilities. Tehran’s daily life has been affected by security measures, flight cancellations, and economic instability, with the national currency sharply depreciating since the onset of hostilities.
