Scale AI appoints former Google Cloud executive Francis DeSouza as CEO

Artificial intelligence company Scale AI has appointed former Google Cloud executive Francis DeSouza as its new Chief Executive Officer, a leadership change aimed at accelerating the company's expansion in AI data services and enterprise applications.

DeSouza will officially assume the role on August 10, succeeding interim CEO Jason Droege, who has led the company since June of last year.
