Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has praised compatriot Ayoub Bouaddi for both his footballing ability and personal qualities following the Champions League clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City on Wednesday.

Speaking to Italy’s Sky Sport, the PSG defender expressed his admiration for Bouaddi after being asked about a shirt the young player had given him. Hakimi described his compatriot as an exceptional footballer and highlighted his qualities off the pitch, saying he was pleased to have him involved with the Moroccan national team.

Hakimi also expressed confidence in Bouaddi’s future, pointing to the opportunities awaiting him with Manchester City and Morocco. His comments reflected not only appreciation for the player’s technical ability but also confidence in his potential to develop further at club and international level.

The Moroccan defender additionally praised the way Bouaddi performed during the European fixture, underlining the impression the young player had made despite the high level of competition.

The match ended in a 4-2 victory for Paris Saint-Germain, giving the French side three valuable points in the second round of the Champions League league phase. PSG moved to six points, while Manchester City remained on three after suffering their first defeat in the competition this season.
