Royal Armed Forces deploy three field hospitals in central Morocco

The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) have deployed three military field hospitals in the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, and Midelt as part of ongoing efforts to support rural populations during harsh winter conditions.

The mobile medical and surgical facilities have been installed in the communes of Ait M’hamed (Azilal), Ouirgane (Al Haouz), and Tounfite (Midelt). The initiative follows royal instructions and reflects continued attention to communities living in mountainous areas, where temperatures drop sharply during the winter season.

According to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the deployment aims to improve access to healthcare for residents facing difficult climatic conditions and limited medical infrastructure. The field hospitals are designed to provide essential medical consultations, emergency care, and surgical services when needed.

To ensure the effectiveness of the operation, the FAR mobilized qualified medical personnel as well as the necessary logistical resources, enabling rapid intervention and sustained medical support for the affected populations.

This humanitarian initiative highlights the role of the Royal Armed Forces in providing assistance beyond their traditional missions, particularly in times of environmental and social challenges.
