Raja Casablanca Reigns Supreme in Coupe du Trône Triumph

In a pulsating encounter at the Grand Stade d'Agadir, Raja Casablanca etched their name into the annals of Moroccan football history, claiming a hard-fought 2-1 victory over AS FAR in the prestigious Coupe du Trône final. The match, which pitted the top two teams from the recent Botola season against each other, witnessed a fierce battle of wills and culminated in Raja Casablanca's triumphant double: both the league and cup titles.

The Greens from Casablanca burst out of the blocks, seizing the initiative from the outset. Just four minutes into the contest, Algerian forward Yousri Bouzok scored, giving Raja Casablanca an early lead. However, AS FAR swiftly regained their composure, mounting a sustained offensive and creating numerous goalscoring opportunities in front of Anas Zniti's goal.

Amine Zouhzouh eventually found the equalizer in the 28th minute, leveling the score and setting the stage for a tense second half.

As the minutes ticked away, the reigning Botola champions patiently awaited their moment to strike. In the 79th minute, Mohamed Boulacsout emerged as the hero. His decisive strike proved to be the winning goal that sealed Raja Casablanca's triumph.

With this latest conquest, Raja Casablanca claimed their ninth Coupe du Trône title, elevating them to joint second place in the competition's all-time rankings. They are now level with their bitter rivals Wydad Casablanca and trail only their vanquished opponents, AS FAR, who boast an impressive 12 triumphs.

At the conclusion of the match, the Coupe du Trône trophy was presented to Raja Casablanca's captain, Anas Zniti, by the Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, in the presence of the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa.

In a remarkable display of the depth of Moroccan football, the occasion also witnessed the presentation of additional trophies. The Coupe du Trône for futsal was awarded to Faucon d'Agadir, while AS FAR received the women's Coupe du Trône for football.

As the celebrations unfolded, Raja Casablanca's players and supporters basked in the glory of their achievement. They savored a season that will be remembered as one of the most successful in the club's illustrious history, solidifying their place among the titans of Moroccan football.
