Report sheds light on the influence of Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s wife

A new report has drawn attention to Kami Clark, the wife of Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei, describing her involvement in business and technology circles and highlighting connections that have intersected with the company’s rise.

According to reporting by The Wall Street Journal, Clark has pursued several business ventures outside Anthropic and has played an informal strategic role alongside her husband. Although she does not hold an official position at the artificial intelligence company, the report says she has helped introduce Amodei to investors, technology figures and political contacts.

Before her relationship with Amodei, Clark was involved in entrepreneurial projects, including an adult-content venture launched under the name Eddice. The report also details contacts she had with Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and convicted sex offender, during the early stages of that project.

Clark reportedly remained in contact with Epstein for a period of time and invited him to a gathering at her Manhattan home. Her name later appeared in connection with another venture known as Female Algorithm Technologies, which was associated with online material containing sexual imagery.

The report also describes Clark’s links to prominent figures in the technology industry. Before her relationship with Amodei, she reportedly dated former Google executive Eric Schmidt for several years. After beginning her relationship with Amodei, she introduced the two men, and Schmidt later became an early investor in Anthropic.

Clark has also reportedly helped connect influential figures within the artificial intelligence sector. Among those mentioned is Mira Murati, the former OpenAI chief technology officer, whom Clark reportedly introduced to Anthropic co-founder Greg Brockman.

Her informal role has attracted increased attention as Anthropic continues to expand rapidly in the highly competitive artificial intelligence market. The company, which develops the Claude AI assistant, has become one of the leading challengers to companies such as OpenAI and Google.

Anthropic is also reportedly considering a potential public offering, which could further increase scrutiny of the company’s leadership, investors and broader network of relationships.

The report illustrates how personal and professional networks can play an important role in Silicon Valley, particularly for rapidly growing technology companies seeking capital, partnerships and access to influential decision-makers.
