Honor launches the new Pad X9b Max

Honor has expanded its global tablet lineup with the launch of the new Pad X9b Max, a large-screen Android tablet designed to appeal to students, professionals and users seeking an immersive entertainment experience.

The device features a 13-inch display with a resolution of 2500 × 1560 pixels and a pixel density of approximately 228 pixels per inch. With brightness reaching 700 nits, the screen is designed to deliver clear visuals for everyday work, studying and multimedia consumption.

The Pad X9b Max comes with 6GB of RAM, which can be virtually expanded to up to 18GB through Honor’s RAM Turbo technology. It also offers 256GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 2TB, providing additional space for documents, applications and media files.

Four-speaker audio and cinematic viewing

Honor has equipped the tablet with a quad-speaker system supporting surround sound as well as Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless technologies. The company also highlights a volume boost of up to 200%, while the device carries IMAX Enhanced certification, aimed at providing a more immersive cinematic viewing experience.

Long-lasting battery

Battery life is another major feature of the new tablet. The Pad X9b Max packs a 10,100mAh battery, with claimed endurance of up to 16 hours of continuous video playback, 13 hours of document reading and 73 hours of music listening. In standby mode, the device can reportedly remain operational for up to 90 days.

These figures position the tablet as an option for users who prioritize long battery life, particularly students and professionals who frequently work away from a power outlet.

A paper-like display option for readers and students

Honor is also offering a Pad X9b Max Paperlike variant aimed specifically at reading and writing. Its matte display is designed to reduce glare by 35% and reflections from external light sources by 98%.

The Paperlike model also carries several TÜV Rheinland certifications related to flicker reduction and lower blue-light exposure. Its surface is designed to provide a more paper-like sensation when writing, potentially making it attractive to students and users who spend long periods reading or taking notes on a tablet.

With its large display, expandable memory, extensive battery life and specialized Paperlike edition, the Pad X9b Max represents Honor’s latest effort to compete in the increasingly competitive Android tablet market.
