Moroccan dance school shines at 2025 World Cup in Spain
The Moroccan dance school Temps'Danse made a powerful impression at the 2025 Dance World Cup, held in Burgos, Spain, from July 3 to 12. Representing Morocco in the Junior Large Group Showstopper category, the group showcased both artistic talent and cultural pride.
Composed of 33 young dancers aged 8 to 16, the ensemble earned an impressive score of 87% for a performance centered on the evolution of Moroccan women. Their choreography blended elements of street dance, contemporary, ragga, and hip-hop, creating a dynamic and emotionally resonant show.
The performance did more than entertain; it sent a strong message about youth, Moroccan identity, and social transformation. The expressive energy of the dancers and the symbolic strength of their piece struck a deep chord with the international audience.
Temps'Danse's success illustrates the growing global reach of Moroccan performing arts and highlights how young talent can become a voice for culture, progress, and empowerment on the world stage.
