ONMT launches new campaign to boost local tourism in Morocco

Morocco’s National Tourism Office (ONMT) has unveiled an ambitious new communication campaign aimed at encouraging Moroccans worldwide to rediscover the rich tapestry of their homeland’s tourism offerings. The initiative, titled “Ntla9aw fbladna,” translates to “Let’s meet in our country,” and seeks to foster a sense of pride and exploration among citizens.

The campaign represents a renewed commitment to showcasing Morocco’s diverse attractions. It aims to engage Moroccans in a “dynamic of discovery or rediscovery” of their territory, emphasizing the importance of local tourism.

As part of this initiative, ONMT has produced two advertising videos that encapsulate the campaign's vision. One film highlights the stunning Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines, showcasing activities such as swimming, paragliding, fishing, horseback riding, and family outings. The second film shifts focus to the natural beauty and adventure opportunities available within the country, celebrating Amazigh hospitality, culinary delights, and thrilling outdoor experiences.

ONMT asserts that “Ntla9aw fbladka” aims to enhance Morocco's appeal as a multifaceted destination, representing all 12 regions of the Kingdom. Early feedback on the advertising films has been overwhelmingly positive, signaling a strong public interest in the campaign.

Beyond its domestic focus, Morocco continues to attract millions of international tourists. In the first four months of this year, the country welcomed 5.7 million visitors, marking a 23% increase from the same period in 2024. Last year, Morocco received over 17 million tourists, and as it gears up to host significant international events—including the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup—the target is to welcome more than 26 million visitors by 2030.

With this campaign, ONMT not only aims to boost local tourism but also fortifies Morocco’s position as a premier global travel destination, promising unforgettable memories and experiences for all who visit.
