Nearly 50 new health centers opened across 9 regions in Morocco
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has announced the opening of 49 new urban and rural health centersacross nine regions of the Kingdom.
This initiative is part of the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at modernizing and strengthening the national healthcare system. It also forms part of the government’s ambitious program to upgrade 1,400 primary healthcare facilities, with the goal of ensuring equitable access to medical services and reducing regional disparities.
Equipped with modern medical equipment and staffed by 230 healthcare professionals, the new centers will offer a comprehensive range of services — including general consultations, nursing care, chronic disease management, maternal and child health, as well as prevention and health education programs.
