Ministry of Education Dispels Rumors, Affirms Stability in Curricula and Timetables
In a decisive move to quell mounting speculation, a high-ranking official from the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports has categorically denied rumors suggesting major changes to the educational curriculum and schedules for the upcoming academic year. The ministry's stance underscores its commitment to maintaining continuity and stability within the educational system.
The official confirmed that no new measures concerning study programs, examinations, or teaching hours are currently on the agenda, dismissing the circulating rumors as unfounded and baseless.
Contrary to the claims propagated across various social media platforms, the ministry's spokesperson clarified that there will be no alterations to the number of teaching hours, nor will local examinations be canceled. Furthermore, the current study programs will remain unchanged, at least for the time being.
Corroborating the ministry's stance, union sources from the Democratic Labor Confederation (CDT) have also indicated that stakeholders within the educational sector have not received any notifications confirming such changes. These clarifications come in the wake of an agreement signed between the ministry and representative unions, which envisioned a reassessment of teaching hours and a potential streamlining of curricula to achieve a more balanced distribution of study periods.
