In the United States, bad news continues for Boeing. Over the past few weeks, the American aircraft manufacturer has been in the spotlight due to a series of incidents that have multiplied. Engine problems, doors opening... The American giant is under scrutiny, and the recent events observed do not help at all.

Indeed, a plane from the American airline Southwest Airlines, which was supposed to take off from Denver Airport in the United States, had to eventually abort its flight. The reason? It lost part of the cover of one of its engines. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the US federal agency responsible for civil aviation, has launched an investigation. There were 141 people on board.

In fact, 135 passengers were aboard the plane, accompanied by 6 crew members. Footage of the incident was filmed and posted on social media. It shows part of the cover coming off and the immediate announcement of the return to the boarding gate by the aircraft commander. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The shocking images prompted the Southwest Airlines group to react. The company offered apologies to the people on board for the concern caused. The plane was completely stopped, and maintenance teams are working to determine the causes that could explain how and why such an incident occurred.

However, the maintenance teams refused to discuss the issue, particularly not wanting to specify the date of the last maintenance operation of this type on the aircraft. The coming weeks could shed more light on the matter and, above all, could prompt airline companies (and others) to carry out large-scale analysis and maintenance operations.
