In a significant diplomatic meeting held in Cairo, Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Palestinian counterpart Mohamed Mustafa discussed the critical developments in the MENA region and the ongoing efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, alongside initiatives for reconstruction.

Madbouli emphasized that the reconstruction plan for Gaza, which has received approval at the recent Arab Summit, will involve enhanced coordination with various regional and international stakeholders. This collaboration aims to address the implementation aspects of the plan effectively.

The Egyptian leader reiterated the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza, highlighting the necessity to halt the ongoing violence and initiate the reconstruction process.

In his remarks, Mustafa underscored the importance of adhering to the ceasefire, noting the ongoing coordination efforts with Arab and Islamic nations, as well as international actors. These discussions are focused on the regional situation and preparations for an upcoming conference dedicated to Gaza's reconstruction.
