Wildfires spread across Greece as damage continues to mount

Greece is facing an escalating wildfire crisis as multiple fires continue to spread across different regions, causing extensive damage to forests, farmland, and residential areas. Emergency services remain on high alert as firefighters battle several active fronts amid challenging weather conditions.

Thousands of hectares of vegetation have been destroyed over the past week, with some of the most severe damage reported near the Gulf of Corinth and other parts of central and southern Greece.
