The acting director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has postponed the release of a report demonstrating that COVID-19 vaccines reduced emergency department visits and hospitalizations for healthy adults during the previous winter by approximately 50%, according to the Washington Post.

The study, which has not been independently verified, reportedly included data from vaccines produced by Moderna Inc, Pfizer Inc, and Novavax Inc.
