Changan Nevo Q07 hybrid crossover goes on sale in Russia

Sales of the Chinese-made Changan Nevo Q07 hybrid crossover have begun in Russia, giving local motorists access to another model in the growing segment of electrified sport utility vehicles. According to reports, the vehicle is being offered by local dealers from existing stock or through special orders.

The Nevo Q07 made its global debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in late April 2025. Built on Changan’s SDA platform, the crossover combines a spacious five-seat cabin with dimensions designed to accommodate families and everyday driving needs.

The vehicle measures 4,837 millimetres in length, 1,920 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,905 mm. These proportions provide a substantial interior footprint while placing the model within the midsize crossover category.

Buyers can choose between two hybrid powertrain configurations, both combining a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor producing 224 horsepower and an E-CVT transmission.

The first option uses a four-cylinder JL469Q1 petrol engine rated at 98 horsepower. The second features a turbocharged 1.5-litre JL469ZQ1 engine producing 150 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. The two configurations offer different petrol-engine outputs while sharing the same stated electric-motor power.

Prices for the Changan Nevo Q07 in Russia range from 3.35 million to 4.5 million roubles, depending on the version and market conditions. The final cost may therefore vary according to the configuration selected and the dealer’s offer.

The model’s arrival reflects the continued presence of Chinese manufacturers in Russia’s automotive market, where buyers can find an expanding range of vehicles with hybrid and electric-assisted powertrains. For Changan, the Nevo Q07 adds another option for customers seeking an SUV that combines conventional petrol power with electric propulsion.
