Marketing excellence celebrated at Les Impériales Week 2025 in Casablanca
The 8th edition of Les Impériales Week concluded on Friday, January 31, in Casablanca, marking the end of a dynamic week filled with discussions, insights, and celebrations centered on the latest trends in marketing, communication, digital innovation, media, and events. Held under the theme "The Paradigm Shift – Business. People. Tech," this year’s event reaffirmed its status as an unmissable gathering for industry professionals.
The closing ceremony, presided over by Pascal Cübb, president of the International Advertising Association (IAA France), featured the much-anticipated presentation of the "Les Étoiles" awards. These prestigious trophies honored the most impactful campaigns and the creative talents shaping Morocco’s communication industry. A distinguished jury of experts meticulously evaluated 273 submissions, representing 147 campaigns, 90 brands, and 41 agencies.
Spotlight on creativity, innovation, and impact
The awards celebrated projects that combined creativity, innovation, and engagement. Vivo Energy emerged as a standout winner, earning multiple accolades, including the coveted Advertiser of the Year award. Notable campaigns such as "Lioness of the Desert" and "Shell Passion" received recognition in categories like Craft Video Film, Sound, and Photography.
On the agency front, TNC - THENEXTCLIC was crowned Agency of the Year, reinforcing its prominence in Morocco’s advertising landscape. AL BARID BANK also shone with its "Ezy" campaign, which garnered awards in Digital Campaign, Graphic Design, and Visual Identity, showcasing its ability to innovate in an evolving industry.
Special jury awards and individual honors
Special jury prizes added an extra layer of distinction to the event. Cash Plus received the "Coup de cœur du Jury" for its campaign celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary, while the "I Love Morocco" prize went to Vivo Energy for its patriotic "Shell Passion" campaign. The President of the Jury award honored ATEC’s "Blue Collection" campaign, developed by TNC - THENEXTCLIC, praised for its creative approach and social impact.
Individual achievements were also highlighted. Quods Ouaissi of TNC - THENEXTCLIC was named Creative of the Year, while the Marketer of the Year title was shared by Nadia Rahim (INWI) and Salwa Benslimane (Vivo Energy) for their strategic vision and contributions to the evolution of marketing in Morocco.
Public recognition played a role as well, with Maroc Telecom’s "Bacha Douzi" campaign, created by Agence 109, winning the public vote. Among professionals, INWI’s "Hakimi - Stormy" campaign, developed by SAGA Communication, claimed a significant victory.
Morocco’s growing influence in marketing and communication
In his address, Pascal Cübb highlighted Morocco’s rising prominence in the marketing and communication sectors: “We have discovered innovative and committed projects aligned with international best practices. Morocco is increasingly asserting itself as a creative hub on a regional scale.”
The diversity of the winning campaigns reflected a rapidly transforming industry, where artificial intelligence, influencer marketing, and emerging technologies are reshaping communication strategies. This evolution aligns with Les Impériales Week’s commitment to staying at the forefront of trends and fostering collaboration among ecosystem stakeholders.
A platform for industry growth and innovation
Since its founding in 2018, the Association Les Impériales has been dedicated to uniting professionals in marketing, communication, media, digital innovation, and events. Through initiatives like Les Impériales Mornings, Afterworks, and the creation of the Moroccan Observatory Les Impériales, the association actively contributes to strategic thought and industry development.
As the 2025 edition comes to a close, Les Impériales Week solidifies its central role in Morocco’s communication landscape, offering a unique platform for exchange, knowledge-sharing, and the celebration of excellence. The countdown to the 2026 edition has already begun, promising another inspiring chapter in this industry-defining event.
