The tax campaign for earnings in 2024 officially concludes on June 30. However, those wishing to pay via direct debit or expecting refunds must finalize their returns by June 25. This deadline is crucial for ensuring timely transactions and avoiding unnecessary complications.

School's break up for summer

June heralds the end of the academic year, with most schools concluding their sessions around June 20. However, certain institutions may extend the term slightly, depending on regional regulations. Parents are encouraged to confirm specific dates with local authorities to ensure a smooth transition into summer.

Anti-tourism protests

On June 15, organized protests against overtourism will take place in major cities and tourist hotspots, spearheaded by the Southern Europe Network Against Touristification.
