Donald Trump declared in “Excellent Health” after routine medical Check-Up

U.S. President Donald Trump is in “excellent health,” according to a medical report released by the White House on Friday following a routine medical examination.

The 79-year-old Republican leader underwent his second check-up since returning to the White House in January. The report states that Trump’s “cardiac age” is around 14 years younger than his chronological age, indicating a notably good physical condition.

“The President continues to enjoy exceptional health, with strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance,” the report reads. It was signed by Dr. Sean Barbabella, the President’s official physician.

The document also noted that Trump received a Covid-19 booster shot ahead of an upcoming international trip — a move that drew attention given his Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., known for his vaccine-skeptical views, has recently restricted access to Covid-19 vaccines in the U.S.

This annual medical visit, announced earlier in the week, follows a similar examination in April, when Trump was also declared to be in excellent shape.

As the oldest president ever inaugurated in U.S. history, Trump continues to face speculation about his health, although less intense than the scrutiny once directed at his Democratic predecessor, Joe Biden.

Recent photos showing bruises on Trump’s right hand had sparked rumors, but the White House clarified that these marks were the result of frequent handshakes and his daily aspirin regimen, part of standard cardiovascular prevention.

The report also recalled that the president suffers from venous insufficiency, a circulatory issue causing blood accumulation in the legs, first mentioned by the White House in July.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt reiterated that the marks on Trump’s hands were “completely benign,” resulting from “vigorous handshakes” and “routine aspirin use.”
