Manorbois unveils a next-generation showroom in Casablanca
Manorbois has inaugurated a new-generation showroom in Casablanca, marking a strategic shift in how the company engages with architects, designers, and project developers. Located on the busy Boulevard Ghandi, the space is designed as a hybrid hub for consultation, co-creation, and fast decision-making, reflecting evolving trends in interior design and industrial transformation.
Covering nearly 560 square meters, the showroom combines a 330 m² exhibition area with a 130 m² coworking space dedicated to professionals. Architects, designers, engineering firms, and clients can collaborate on-site, consult catalogs, handle material samples, print plans, and leave with clear, structured project prescriptions.
“Our clients no longer seek products alone—they want advice, solutions, and support to turn ideas into reality,” said Abdelhamid Saouri, Managing Director of Manorbois.
Operating under the Manorbois Design label, the showroom highlights the maturity of a company with over 70 years of history. Originally focused on imported raw wood, Manorbois diversified in the 1990s into insulation, flooring, technical panels, and interior and exterior fit-out solutions, aligning its offer with growing market demands.
Once primarily a B2B player, the company has gradually expanded into B2C projects, particularly in hospitality, residential developments, and offshoring. This shift has increased demand for technical products and integrated project support—needs that the new showroom aims to address.
Addressing pricing concerns, Saouri emphasized that materials typically account for only 4–5% of total project costs, urging clients to prioritize quality and design coherence.
Manorbois has also taken a decisive step toward industrialization, with a production unit operating in Mohammedia since 2021, reinforcing its commitment to local manufacturing. Employing around 200 people and generating revenues between 450 and 500 million dirhams, Manorbois aims to reposition wood as a strategic driver of value creation, design excellence, and competitiveness in Morocco.
