Hezbollah condemns Israeli strikes and expresses solidarity with Iran
Hezbollah condemned Israeli military strikes against Iran on Saturday, calling the attacks a “treacherous U.S.-Israeli aggression” in a statement released by the Lebanese Shiite group.
The party expressed full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, and its people, urging nations and citizens across the region to recognize the threat posed by such aggressive actions. “The disastrous consequences will affect everyone if no action is taken,” the statement warned.
Hezbollah predicted that the United States and Israel would face significant setbacks and claimed that their aggressive actions would ultimately fail. The group stressed that the attacks would strengthen Iran’s resilience, determination, and commitment to its legitimate rights.
While the statement condemned the strikes as a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, Hezbollah did not indicate any intention to directly engage in the ongoing conflict.
