12 Olive Oils Were Awarded At The 14th National Competition In Meknes
During the trophy presentation ceremony of the 14th edition of the national competition for selecting the best quality extra virgin olive oil for the agricultural campaign 2023/2024, which took place on Wednesday at SIAM in Meknes, 12 olive oils from four regions of Morocco were awarded. These oils were classified into four categories based on their fruity character (intense green fruity, medium green fruity, light green fruity, and ripe fruity), with three awards given in each group.
The company L'Arbre Beni Agro (Marrakech-Safi) won the 1st prize in the "intense green fruity" category, while the company Maâsera Brahim Zniber (Fès-Meknès) clinched the first prize in the "medium green fruity" category. In the "light green fruity" category, the 1st prize went to the Cooperative Tizi (Oriental), and in the "ripe fruity" category, the Cooperative Azaghar Mogador (Marrakech-Safi) was awarded.
