Moroccan export support programs expand to reach broader business spectrum
The Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) has broadened access to its flagship export support initiatives, working alongside the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Moroccan Confederation of Exporters (ASMEX). The expansion introduces an open application system, creating new possibilities for Moroccan businesses seeking to enter or expand in international markets.
The decision comes in response to growing interest from both established exporters and first-time exporters in the industrial and service sectors, who have set ambitious targets for export revenue growth and job creation through 2025-2026.
The initiative encompasses two distinct programs targeting different business segments. The first program serves two main categories: established export businesses and cooperatives with average export revenues exceeding 5 million dirhams over the past three years, and newcomers to export markets who either have never exported or have maintained average export revenues below 5 million dirhams during the same period.
This comprehensive program focuses on four key areas: economic intelligence and market monitoring, promotion, prospecting and business development, market access through international referencing and tender opportunities, and thematic seminars covering operational aspects of exporting. Interested businesses can submit their applications through morocconow.com/exportmorocconow.

The second program specifically targets women-led enterprises that recorded export revenues under 5 million dirhams in 2023. It offers three main support pillars: export business plan development and training, certification and digital transformation support, and business networking through B2B meetings.
This women-focused initiative is implemented in partnership with the Association of Women Business Leaders of Morocco (AFEM), with technical and financial backing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) under the "Women in Business" program, co-funded by the European Union.
Through these expanded programs, AMDIE demonstrates its commitment to boosting Moroccan exports by supporting a wider range of participants, from well-established companies to emerging businesses, as part of Morocco's strategy to strengthen its position in the global economy.
