Enhanced train schedule for Eid Al Adha: ONCF's commitment to travelers

The Moroccan National Railways Office (ONCF) has unveiled an expanded train schedule in anticipation of Eid Al Adha, offering enhanced services to facilitate smooth travel for the holiday.

The new program, effective from May 30 to June 15, aims to assist travelers in moving easily and safely during this significant period. ONCF's announcement includes a remarkable provision of up to 237 trains daily across the national network, with additional services particularly focused on routes experiencing higher passenger volumes.

For those utilizing the Al Boraq high-speed trains, ONCF will operate trains every hour from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the exception of a midday pause at 1 p.m. This service will connect key cities including Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca. Furthermore, increased seating capacity will be made available during peak travel times.

The Atlas trains will also see enhancements, with added capacity and supplementary trips along vital routes such as Marrakech to Casablanca, Fez, Oujda, Nador, Khouribga, and Safi.

In preparation for the holiday, the Head of Government’s office has announced an exceptional holiday for government departments and local authorities on Monday, June 9. This decision aims to provide further relief for those traveling during the festivities.

ONCF has also committed to bolstering its staff presence at stations and on trains to assist passengers effectively. Technical teams will be on standby 24/7 to ensure a seamless travel experience.

Travelers are encouraged to purchase round-trip tickets in advance to avoid lengthy queues and secure their seats for this busy holiday period.

As Morocco prepares to celebrate Eid Al Adha on June 7, ONCF's expanded services reflect its dedication to facilitating a joyful and hassle-free travel experience for all.
