Moroccan Dirham appreciates against Euro (October 2–8, 2025)

The Moroccan dirham appreciated by 0.7% against the euro while depreciating by 0.3% against the U.S. dollar during the period from October 2 to 8, 2025, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).

During this period, no auction operations were conducted on the foreign exchange market, BAM noted in its latest weekly indicators bulletin. Official reserve assets (ORA) reached MAD 421.4 billion as of October 3, up 1% week-on-week and 14.8% year-on-year, according to the central bank.
