Thirty bombs reportedly dropped on Iranian supreme leader’s residential complex
Israeli media reported on Saturday that “thirty bombs” were dropped on the residential complex of Iran’s supreme leader during a joint military operation carried out by Israel and the United States.
According to Channel 12, a major Israeli television network, the strikes targeted a compound associated with Ali Khamenei amid a broader wave of attacks against sites in Iran. The report claimed that the supreme leader was underground at the time of the strike, though possibly not inside his personal bunker.
The information was relayed on air by journalist Amit Segal, who is widely regarded as being close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The broadcaster did not cite official sources to support the claim.
The alleged strike forms part of an intensifying confrontation involving Israel, the United States and Iran. Earlier in the day, images circulated showing damaged buildings and vehicles in Tehran following reported Israeli and American air operations. Iranian authorities have not immediately confirmed the details of the strike on the supreme leader’s residential compound.
Military analysts note that claims involving high-level targets are often difficult to independently verify in the immediate aftermath of hostilities. The reported scale of the bombing, if confirmed, would represent a significant escalation in a conflict that has already heightened tensions across the Middle East.
Governments in the region and beyond are closely monitoring developments, amid concerns that direct strikes on symbolic or political leadership sites could further destabilize an already fragile security environment.
