Strategic Appointments in National Security Leadership
Abdellatif Hammouchi, the Director General of National Security (DGSN), continues his strategy of promoting young, skilled individuals by providing them with key leadership roles within Morocco’s security institution. In an ongoing effort to enhance the institutional structure, Hammouchi has made several appointments that focus on strengthening the effectiveness of the National Security Directorate.
On Thursday, the DGSN announced the appointments of nine new senior officials, highlighting leadership changes within critical divisions, including the Budget, Equipment, and Vehicle Fleet departments. Among the new appointments are three leaders in charge of the Financial Division, Equipment Division, and the Vehicle Fleet Division. In addition, new heads have been appointed for the Fuel Services, Procurement, and Technical Studies and Construction departments.
These appointments are part of an ongoing effort to increase the operational efficiency and productivity of human resources within the DGSN. The approach is centered on ensuring a steady rotation of responsibilities, allowing for the development of highly trained and qualified individuals who can lead police operations effectively. The overall goal is to implement strategies that enhance the safety and security of both citizens and property by entrusting highly competent leaders with the operational management of security services.
