Family Code - The countdown has begun
Nearly 20 years after its enactment, the Family Code is set to be revised in accordance with the instructions of King Mohammed VI. The focus now shifts to the examination of received proposals before formulating recommendations for amendments to be submitted to the Sovereign. The objective is to address the shortcomings revealed in the application of the Code and adapt it to the developments in Moroccan society while preserving its essence and reference based on Islamic principles and compliance with internationally ratified conventions by Morocco.
