Garena Unveils Free Fire: Daybreak at CCXP26 with World Premiere

The world of Free Fire is set to take a new leap with the arrival of Free Fire: Daybreak, an animated series whose first episode will be showcased at a world premiere on December 5, 2026, during CCXP26 in São Paulo, Brazil. This screening will precede the global launch of the production, scheduled for spring 2027.

Through this project, Garena aims to give a new dimension to its mobile game franchise by opening it up to the animation format. The Brazilian event will also be marked by the presence of DJ and producer Alok, who will participate in a meeting with the production team before delivering a live musical performance.

An Original Story Featuring Iconic Characters

Produced by Garena in partnership with KADOKAWA CORPORATION and directed by the animation studio Candy Box, the series features several characters familiar to players in an unprecedented storyline.

Directed by Ken Takahashi, with a script by Hotaru Asafuji and music composed by Koji Fujimoto, Free Fire: Daybreak follows Kelly, Hayato, and Moco in the futuristic city of New Dawn, controlled by the Horizon Corporation.

As the story unfolds, Kelly finds herself embroiled in a conspiracy and discovers that she possesses a supernatural power of which she was previously unaware. This new plot aims to further develop the narrative universe of the franchise beyond its gaming experience.

Alok: Bridging Animation and Music

The presentation at CCXP26 will also give special attention to Alok. Integrated into the Free Fire universe as a character since 2019, the artist will participate in discussions about the behind-the-scenes creation of the anime.

He will particularly discuss his special appearance in the first episode and his contribution to the soundtrack. The meeting will be followed by a live musical performance, thus combining video games, animation, and music within the same event.

CCXP26 will also host several animations and activities dedicated to the worlds of Free Fire and Daybreak at the franchise booth from December 3 to 6. Organizers plan to communicate more details as the festival approaches.

A Global Launch Planned for Spring 2027

Scheduled from December 3 to 6, 2026, at the São Paulo Expo, CCXP26 will be the first opportunity for the public to discover the new production before its global broadcast. For Garena, this initiative is part of a strategy to expand the Free Fire universe into various entertainment formats.

With Free Fire: Daybreak, the publisher aims to extend the experience of its community by developing an original story featuring characters already familiar to players. The global release of the series is announced for spring 2027.
