AI institute becomes Microsoft training partner to expand AI skills in Africa
AI Institute has secured the status of Training Services Partner with Microsoft, marking a step in its expansion across the artificial intelligence training market. The agreement formalizes a collaboration that began during GITEX Africa 2024 and now translates into structured training programs aligned with Microsoft’s global standards and adapted to business needs.
The Morocco-based organization specializes in artificial intelligence and data training and advisory services. With this designation, it joins a limited group of providers in Africa authorized to deliver certified training on Microsoft’s AI and cloud ecosystem. The partnership builds on a defined division of roles. Microsoft provides technologies and frameworks, while AI Institute, working with DynIT, develops and delivers training programs and AI solutions focused on practical use and measurable outcomes.
The announcement comes as investment in artificial intelligence accelerates across industries, while companies face a gap between technological progress and workforce readiness. AI Institute targets this gap by supporting organizations through the full adoption cycle. Its approach includes raising awareness among executives and teams, identifying high-return use cases, deploying solutions, and tracking productivity gains over time.
The organization positions its services as technology-agnostic, aiming to guide companies regardless of the platforms they use. Its broader objective is to strengthen AI capabilities, support digital transformation, and promote responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across sectors. The initiative also aligns with wider efforts to build digital skills in Africa, where demand for AI expertise continues to grow alongside investments in digital infrastructure and innovation ecosystems.
