Royal Air Maroc Launches Expanded Summer 2025 Flight Program

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has unveiled a comprehensive flight plan for summer 2025, featuring over 6.6 million available seats  an increase of more than 700,000 compared to the previous year. This ambitious program is designed to meet the high travel demand from Moroccans living abroad and to strengthen Morocco’s global air connectivity, linking the country to 95 international destinations.

The airline's network expansion includes new direct routes to São Paulo, Beijing, Toronto, and Catania. Domestically, service between Rabat and Dakhla has been reinforced. Additionally, RAM has broadened its footprint in London with the launch of a direct route from Stansted Airport, complementing existing routes from Heathrow and Gatwick. The Casablanca-Manchester connection has also been introduced.

According to Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc, this initiative reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to innovation and growth. He emphasized the company’s goal of positioning Morocco as a key strategic air hub while providing seamless travel experiences for the Moroccan diaspora.

The carrier has significantly increased its service to African destinations. Flights to Nouakchott have risen to nine per week, while Dakar will now benefit from a daily connection totaling 14 flights weekly. New direct flights from Casablanca to Malaga, Valencia, Lisbon, and Porto will be operated using Boeing 737 and Embraer aircraft.

These aircraft deployments align with RAM’s broader strategy of fleet modernization and expansion. Industry insiders report that the airline is in advanced discussions with Boeing for the acquisition of additional planes, which would further support its operational and service enhancements.

To support the new summer schedule, Royal Air Maroc has leased four new aircraft  one for long-haul and three for medium-haul operations stationed in Casablanca, Tangier, Nador, and Oujda. The number of leased planes will decrease as eight new aircraft become operational.

Flight schedules have also been optimized to improve the customer experience: nighttime departures are planned for European routes, while daytime flights will serve African destinations, ensuring better comfort and connectivity.
