Casablanca: Juventus hosts the 7th Green March Cup
The official Juventus Academy in Casablanca will host the 7th edition of the Green March Cup this Thursday, November 6, 2025, bringing together several prestigious Moroccan football clubs to celebrate unity and patriotism through sport.
The event, organized as part of the Green March celebrations, pays tribute to one of Morocco’s most symbolic moments — the peaceful 1975 march that reaffirmed the nation’s sovereignty over its southern provinces. Each year, the Green March stands as a symbol of national pride, loyalty to the Alaouite Throne, and unity under HM King Mohammed VI.
The tournament, dedicated to young footballers aged 7 to 11, aims to instill values of teamwork, perseverance, and patriotism. Thirty teams are taking part, including the Mohammed VI Football Academy, Fath Union Sport (FUS), Raja Club Athletic (RCA), and the Juventus academies of Rabat and Casablanca.
Throughout the day, various activities will promote national unity and inspire the next generation. Several Moroccan football icons are also expected to attend and present trophies to the young participants.
