CFAO Mobility has introduced the OMODA E5, a fully electric SUV, to the Moroccan automotive market during the first Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025 in Casablanca. This new addition to Morocco's electric vehicle landscape combines innovation, performance, and environmental consciousness.

Design and dimensions

The OMODA E5 features a futuristic design with a distinctive X-shaped front, minimalist grille enhanced by 3D LED lights, and dynamic bodywork shadowing. The floating roof and lowered rear profile optimize aerodynamics while maintaining a modern aesthetic. The compact SUV measures 4.42 meters in length, 1.83 meters in width, and 1.58 meters in height, providing ample interior space and premium materials.

Technology and connectivity

The vehicle boasts a fully digital dashboard with dual 12-inch curved screens and a responsive 12.3-inch central touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm 8155 processor. Additional features include a Sony high-fidelity audio system with six speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 50W wireless phone charger. The SUV also incorporates intelligent voice commands for easy system interaction.

Performance and range

Powered by a 202-horsepower electric motor delivering 340 Nm of torque, the OMODA E5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds with a top speed of 172 km/h. Drivers can choose between Sport, Comfort, and Eco modes. The 61 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery provides a WLTP-rated range of 430 kilometers. Fast charging capabilities allow 30% to 80% charging in 28 minutes using an 80 kW DC charger, while full AC charging at 11 kW takes 3-4 hours.

Safety features

The OMODA E5 has earned a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, featuring seven airbags and a reinforced body structure with 78% high-strength steel. The vehicle includes 24 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assistance, and a 360-degree camera. The battery management system (BMS) has undergone extensive testing for heat and rough road conditions.

Pricing and availability

The OMODA E5 is priced at 420,000 dirhams, with the two-tone version available at 425,000 dirhams. CFAO Mobility includes a complimentary wall-mounted charging station with installation by TSG Solutions Maroc. Interested customers can visit the OMODA & JAECOO showroom on Casablanca's Corniche boulevard for test drives, available Monday through Saturday.
