OCP partners with Mistral AI to accelerate its AI-driven transformation

The OCP Group has announced a strategic partnership with French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI, aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of its operations through advanced AI technologies. The agreement was signed in Paris as part of OCP’s Bionic program, led by its business unit Rock Solutions Strategic.

Through this partnership, OCP seeks to create added value by reshaping its operational model around agent-based artificial intelligence. The collaboration focuses on the responsible, secure, and sovereign integration of generative AI and intelligent agent systems into the core activities and service offerings of Rock Solutions.

According to OCP, the alliance strengthens technological autonomy while enabling the development of customized, high-value solutions for both integrated and external clients. The objective is to enhance decision-making processes, improve efficiency, and support more agile and data-driven industrial operations.

The partnership is built on two main pillars. The first is the establishment of an independent governance framework designed to evaluate, monitor, and control AI agents developed under the Bionic program, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance in critical environments. The second pillar is the development of a proprietary, native, and scalable AI model tailored to the strategic needs of OCP’s ecosystem.

Beyond operational performance, the collaboration is also expected to generate new opportunities in research and innovation through synergies with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). This dimension reinforces OCP’s ambition to contribute to Morocco’s technological development while consolidating its global leadership in sustainable industrial innovation.
