The incident occurred in the eastern desert of the Kingdom during the early hours of Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the Jordanian military.

Military responds to unauthorized flight

A spokesperson for the Royal Jordanian Air Force said the aircraft violated Jordanian airspace before being successfully neutralized over the country's eastern territory.

Authorities did not identify the drone's origin or disclose additional operational details, but emphasized that the aircraft was intercepted before it could pose a broader security threat.

The latest incident reflects Jordan's ongoing efforts to safeguard its borders and airspace as instability continues to affect neighboring countries.

Although no official connection has been established between the separate incidents, the events illustrate the heightened level of vigilance maintained by neighboring countries.
