Iran’s Revolutionary Guards say the risk of renewed war remains low
Members of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated on Wednesday that the likelihood of a renewed conflict with the United States remains limited, while emphasizing that Iranian armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any potential military escalation.
According to Iranian media reports, senior naval official Mohammad Akbarzadeh said ongoing diplomatic efforts and what he described as the “weakness of the enemy” reduce the chances of another war breaking out in the region. Despite this assessment, he stressed that Iran’s military forces continue to maintain a high level of readiness.
The comments come amid persistent tensions in the Middle East following months of instability and military confrontations involving regional and international powers. Although diplomatic negotiations and ceasefire efforts have helped reduce immediate hostilities, uncertainty remains across the Gulf region.
Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that any new military action against the country would trigger a strong response. Statements from military leaders continue to reflect Tehran’s strategy of combining diplomatic engagement with military preparedness.
The Gulf region remains strategically important for global energy markets and international trade routes, making any escalation a major concern for the international community. Analysts believe that ongoing diplomatic talks will play a key role in preventing further instability in the area.
