Hyundai opens “Showroom of the Future” in Bouskoura

Hyundai has inaugurated its state-of-the-art “Showroom of the Future” in Bouskoura, Morocco, combining cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and an innovative customer experience. The new facility represents a strategic shift in Hyundai’s approach to engaging with clients.

More than a conventional exhibition space, the showroom offers an immersive environment. Visitors are greeted by an interactive robot that guides and informs them, while a touchscreen dedicated to electric and hybrid vehicles allows detailed exploration of each model. Hyundai has also introduced a playful simulation feature using connected bicycles, enabling visitors to virtually “drive” an Ioniq while pedaling.

Facilities Designed for Growth

Covering 28,800 m², the site includes the showroom, mechanical and body workshops with 86 workstations, offices, a service center capable of handling up to 40 vehicles per day, and a two-level parts store spanning 1,400 m². The project required a total investment of 300 million dirhams (approx. $30 million USD).

Sustainability is a key focus: 540 solar panels supply half of the site’s energy needs, and a wastewater treatment plant processes up to 100 m³ per day, reflecting Hyundai’s commitment to green mobility.

Highlight on the Hyundai Tucson Plug-In Hybrid

Among the vehicles on display, the Hyundai Tucson PHEV stands out. This family SUV combines a gasoline-electric hybrid system delivering 265 hp with an urban electric range of up to 90 km. Rechargeable in 2.5 hours using a 7.2 kW charging station, it demonstrates a smooth transition toward electrification without compromising comfort or performance.

With this flagship showroom, Hyundai signals its ambition to not just follow market trends but to lead them. Bouskoura represents the company’s vision for the future of mobility: connected, interactive, sustainable, and fully centered on the customer.
