German authorities investigate Berlin Pride attack as suspected Islamist terrorism

German authorities are treating the deadly attack that struck Berlin's Pride celebrations as a suspected act of Islamist terrorism, according to Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt, as investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The attack occurred during Saturday evening's Pride event in the German capital, where a vehicle drove into a crowd, leaving one person dead and several others injured. Emergency services responded rapidly, while police launched a large-scale investigation.

Authorities point to signs of radicalization
