FAR Inspector General meets UN mission commander in southern provinces
As part of regular meetings between the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the United Nations mission in Morocco’s southern provinces, General Mohammed Berrid, FAR Inspector General and Commander of the Southern Zone, received Major General MD Fakhrul Ahsan, Commander of the UN mission’s force, at the Southern Zone headquarters in Agadir on Thursday.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the mission’s activities. Both officials highlighted the exceptional level of coordination achieved in operational, security, demining, and logistical support areas, according to a statement from the FAR General Staff.
