At least five Palestinians killed in new Israeli strikes on Gaza
At least five Palestinians were killed in fresh Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, local authorities and hospitals reported. Four casualties were confirmed in Gaza City after an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians, while another victim died near Deir el-Balah.
Al-Shifa Hospital, the main medical facility in the territory, received several injured individuals following the drone attack. Emergency responders described the situation as critical, with civilians bearing the brunt of ongoing military operations.
Another strike reportedly targeted a vehicle near the Maghazi refugee camp, claiming at least one additional life, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Since the ceasefire of October 10, 2025, repeated airstrikes in Gaza have left hundreds dead and many more wounded, highlighting the persistent humanitarian crisis in the enclave. Ongoing military operations continue to raise concerns over civilian safety and the stability of the region.
