Morocco's preparations for World Cup 2026: Lions of the Atlas' second training session
The Moroccan national football team held its second training session on Tuesday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, preparing for the upcoming matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The session, focused on technical and tactical aspects, was conducted under the guidance of national coach Walid Regragui. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) confirmed that all squad members participated.
Morocco will face Niger on March 21 at the Oujda Honor Stadium, followed by a match against Tanzania four days later at the same venue. Coach Regragui has called up 26 players for these fixtures, with kick-offs scheduled for 21:30.
Currently, Morocco leads Group E of the qualifiers with 9 points.
