GITEX Africa 2026 guide highlights top hotels near Marrakech venue

As GITEX Africa Morocco 2026 approaches, organizers have released a curated list of hotels in Marrakech to help visitors secure accommodation close to the exhibition site at Place Bab Jdid.

The selection focuses on proximity, comfort, and international standards, as thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers prepare to attend the continent’s largest technology gathering from April 7 to 9.

Among the closest luxury options, La Mamounia stands just 182 meters from the venue. The five-star property is known for its historic setting, gardens, and high-end service. Nearby, Nobu Hotel Marrakech offers a blend of contemporary design and hospitality, while Jadali Hotel & Spa provides modern facilities with wellness-focused amenities.

Several high-end hotels are also located within walking distance. Kenzi Rose Garden and Le Méridien N’Fis offer established hospitality services with landscaped grounds. Hotel & Ryads Barrière Le Naoura Marrakech combines riad-style architecture with luxury accommodation, while Les Jardins de la Koutoubia provides traditional Moroccan design near the city’s historic center. For a more accessible price range, Dellarosa Hotel Suites & Spa offers a mid-range alternative about one kilometer from the venue.

Premium hotels slightly further from the site include Savoy Le Grand Hotel Marrakech, known for its large-scale resort facilities, and Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech, which caters to business travelers with conference infrastructure. Radisson Blu Hotel Marrakech Carré Eden provides a modern urban setting with rooftop amenities.

For visitors seeking more affordable accommodation, Ibis Marrakech Palmeraie offers a budget-friendly option outside the city center. Several resort-style properties are also available for those preferring a quieter environment, including Park Hyatt Marrakech, Ennakhil Marrakech Hotel & Spa, Palais Mehdi, Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf Palmeraie, and Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech.

GITEX Africa Morocco is the regional edition of the global GITEX GLOBAL exhibition. Since its launch in Morocco, it has become a major platform connecting startups, investors, governments, and technology companies.

The 2026 edition marks the fourth consecutive year the event is held in Marrakech. It will feature startup showcases, artificial intelligence demonstrations, investment forums, and policy discussions focused on digital transformation across Africa.

With demand for accommodation rising as the event approaches, early booking has become a priority for many attendees planning to take part in one of the continent’s largest technology gatherings.
