China faces numerous challenges ahead of annual parliamentary session

These remarks came amid a tense geopolitical climate, especially as the country grapples with external economic pressures.

He emphasized that, "the unfavorable impact of external changes has worsened, and the Chinese economy is facing many difficulties and challenges." Despite this, the Chinese president reassured the nation by stating, "It must be recognized that the economic foundations of China remain solid, with many advantages, strong resilience, and true potential."
